Hello! 🙂 It’s a holiday in my country today (the day I’m writing this and quite possibly the day this was published, too). But I had no big plans for the day and so … here I am. 🙂

Let’s go for it!

A-Section

Help preserve the beauty of this tourist spot national park. Stay away!

Afghan interpreters pin hope on evacuation. I can already picture a story being inspired.

Let’s hear it for free speech and the Fourth Amendment!

Dear Climate Change Deniers.

As usual, we run second to Europe on progressive shit.

Sunday Opinion

Thank you, Christine Emba!

Outlook

An alternative view on the whole Fourth of July thing.

The Black role in the Declaration.

Metro

Sorry. They’re all too busy making Tik-Tok videos.

Sounds like my kind of comic book.

The most poetic weather report ever.

Obits

Teachers are awesome.

Inspired Life

Live long and prosper.

Sports

Bummer, man.

Business

I think we all deserve a break.

OMG! Print’s not dead! Oh, the irony!

I tried to find an article by Tina Vasquez about being her father’s retirement plan, but I couldn’t find it. I couldn’t find it with search terms (using search engines for the whole Internet and within The Washington Post itself) or even here. (Got anything to say about that, Gene Weingarten?) Oh, wait. Look, I found it with a simple online search. (Online search tip: Sometimes, it pays to broaden your search by not limiting it to the website you think the information is on. In fact, sometimes an article manages to slip right through the paywall.}

Travel

California dreamin’ again.

Finally, the Funnies!

The floot floot did a boom boom on the jim jam.

You’ll never believe how all of this turns out …

Shall we end with a fireworks display? From Japan! 🙂

PS: Watch a woman mansplain how men and women are affected by stress differently. 🙂
