Hi. Yeah, you may have noticed I have a new setup. I just talked about this in another video, which I’m going to show after this. Maybe I’ll cut that part out. Yeah. I have a new setup, and it’s all because my computer crashed.

My computer just totally crapped out on me.

I had to go get a new one. I’m still recovering files. It’s not pretty, but I do have a backup system, fortunately. One way or the other, I’ll get hopefully most of what I was working on back. It sucks, but there you go.

In any event, I wanted to talk about the 48 Hour Film Project. It was the most wonderful experience of my life, one of them, anyway. It was just great. I mean, we did this thing — I Zoomed in, there were a couple of other writers who Zoomed in — and then there was this central location where everybody was kind of gathering, which was the shooting location actually, and it was just really great to be part of that group and be able to contribute and to have the experience of essentially being in a writer’s room virtually. And I thought, oh, the possibilities of that, you know what I mean? To think that we can now do this.

It really expands our horizons creatively, all of us, if you think about it. Think of all the collaborating that can be done this way, whether it’s on a novel, whether it’s on a screenplay, no matter what it is. That’s what makes the internet great. So hopefully that’s something I can help work on a little bit. I’m just thinking about it. Anyhow, that’s it, and I’ll talk to you later.

Oh, by the way, if you’re in Silver Spring, they’re going to be showing our film as part of a bunch of shorts shown at the AFI Silver on Friday, May 19th. I’m looking at the calendar, I don’t know what day it is. May 19th at 7:00 PM, it’s going to be part of group C. There’s a schedule. I’ll try to remember to put a link in the YouTube notes and wherever else I post this. So anyway, I hope if you’re around Silver Spring, I hope that you can be there. I can’t wait to see this thing. We had so much fun writing it. I loved every second of it. It was great. Anyway, Women in Film and Video in DC, that was the team, and that’s an organization that rocks, let me tell you. That is a great group.

Team shot!

Having said that, thanks for listening and I’ll talk to you later.

And here’s the complete list of Friday night movies! Short films are awesome! See us down there? 🙂
