Hi! Today, I’m reviewing True Crime Philadelphia by Kathryn Canvan, I believe? Kathryn Canavan wrote this one. “From America’s first bank robbery to the real-life killers who inspired Boardwalk Empire”.

And it is a nice, quite a nice selection of some of Philadelphia’s most interesting crimes, crime stories. And I’m just fascinated by history in general. So, I was gonna say, I’m not sure if there was one that really stood out. I mean, they were all interesting and that’s the thing. And, you know, I can never really pick one in particular, but there were all sorts of interesting things, you know, dynamics of society that, you know, I never really appreciated or that I hadn’t given a lot of thought to.

And it’s just a good, good read, a good thing to read and, and understand our history a little bit better. And this is just, you know, it’s Philadelphia, and Philadelphia doesn’t represent the entire anything, but some of the stuff in here really would resonate, I think, with people today and really make people think a little bit more about what’s going on today. So any sort of historical book like that, always, I would say I would recommend it, definitely if you’re into history, and I think we can all benefit from learning a little bit of history. Don’t you? Thanks. I’ll talk to you later.
