Hi! Today, I’m reviewing Tell Us No Secrets by Siena Sterling. Wow. “Tell us no secrets and we’ll never tell lies.” Ooh, this book. Yeah, read it. Yeah. I, I gotta tell you though. Wow. I am so glad I never went to an all-girls school, if it’s anything like this. And yeah, I know it’s dramatized, right? So, but still-whew! And yeah, this so perfectly reflects some of my own thoughts about the Sixties, a highly overrated decade. Period. There is so much in here, so much to chew on.

I mean, abortion, just how women are perceived in general, and a lot of emphasis on the, all the intensity of female relationships, the intensity of female friendships. It’s interesting because I have never had a relationship like that with a woman that intense. I don’t think I have ever told a single female friend in my life everything. I would never tell everything to anybody, even in my memoirs. So <laugh>, I don’t know what to say about that, but anyway, it’s very, very, very good. Excellent, really. And so I highly recommend it. And with that, I’ll just say, thanks for listening, and I’ll talk to you later.

I forgot to mention, I love the mentions of Marmite and that there was something else. Oh gosh. Cafe Nero, where I, which I have been to, and actually met some British people while I was on vacation.

Me with Paul Downie and Trevor Veail, at Cafe Nero in Brentwood, England, UK. In 2012.

What else was there? There was something else that I liked that was British in there that … oh, to bang on. Yeah, I understand about banging on. I have a tendency to bang on myself sometimes. <laugh> Bang on in ways you wouldn’t believe. Okay. And then the other thing was, oh, the ending. <laugh> I will not say anything more. But I got it. Yeah. Yeah. I got it. All right. <Laugh> Very, very clever. Ooh!

The end.
