Today I’m going to review “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie.
[00:00:08] This book is called “the only book you need to lead you to success”. It’s right on the cover, and I have to tell you that I think that’s absolutely true. I’m beginning to think that there’s no point buying any other self-help books. I have found the one. This man truly is the king of self-help.
[00:00:33] Basically, what the book does is it goes through a set of his principles for success that amount essentially to — how can I save this? — common sense. And, unfortunately, we don’t always exercise common sense. And that’s true of everybody. True of myself.
[00:01:01] If we followed the principles in this book, we wouldn’t have any wars, we wouldn’t have any problems. Honestly, this is a great book. I wish that I could just rip out each page that has the principles. What he does is he goes through the principles, one at a time, with case studies, and then gives you a summation at the end of each section of the book. So if I could just rip those pages out and put them on my wall, I’d be happy. Or put them together in a collage. I would have everything I need right in front of me. But, unfortunately or fortunately, I got this from the library, but I may just buy myself a copy because, honestly, this book is the bomb.
[00:01:57] It’s the one. It’s great. And I want to thank my brother, Kenny, for recommending it. So do check below the video for links where you can buy this book.
[00:02:15] It’s well worth the purchase. Believe me, it’s a fantastic book. So with that I’ll just say talk to you later.
