Hi, today I’m reviewing A Good Man by PJ McIlvaine.

This was a really good book. It’s about a novelist, somebody completely above the level I’m at, that’s for sure. Somebody who’s living, I think he was living in The Dakota, if I’m remembering correctly. I was like, wow, okay. This is one of those novelists. So he’s doing some digging into his past life. He’s trying to keep his family life together with his wife and his kids. He has issues going on there. Plus somebody has decided to dig into the details of a traumatic event in his life. When he was a child, his mother and brother were murdered at Montauk. So a lot of his motivation, a lot of his fears, desires, everything go back to that incident at Montauk. And what he wants to do is write his own book about the incident, and the further he digs, the harder things get for him.

He becomes a suspect in some kind of situation, some kind of murder. I can’t remember. Oh, it was a murder of the journalist, I guess. I’d have to look at the actual description to tell you. I’m sorry. I read a lot of books. But the thing is that he ends up…
