Just when I thought I’d heard it all …

Me, waiting for magic solutions.

This weekend sucked. That’s all there is to it.

Not only am I recovering (sl-o-o-wly) from a computer crash, but what files I’ve been able to recover so far are definitely not everything I need.

So, I’m sitting here on a Saturday, waiting for yet another download from my off-site storage service. And will (I’m thinking) have to choose the slow and initially expensive solution. Eventually.

What else? Didn’t write a thing, except this. Plus, my last dystonia treatment seems to be wearing off already, but that’s nothing new.

Plus, we’re all out of Jammie Dodgers!

Life. *sigh* Don’t talk to me about it. 🙂

But Towel Day is coming! Click that link for more details about Towel Day and its celebration around this world.

Oh, and this is just something I ran across and thought was interesting.

It seems to be “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” in Spanish.

Here’s the version in English:

And another!

Interesting!

All righty then! 🙂

I’d love to hear someone explain this screenshot. 🙂

Okay. Now what? 🙂

I’d love to hear someone explain these screenshots of “previews”. 🙂

Umm?

And do not get me started on “rigid metrics.”

Yeah, Sunday promises to be shite, um, fun. Pure, unadulterated fun shite.

There was a range of stuff in the news from the demise of AM radio through elimination from automobile dashboards to the popularity of apartment hunting through TikTok. And even more news than my gamey (sp?) hand cares to type.

The good news is that four British women created a really awesome game called “Library Labyrinth,” and now I’m totally going to steal that idea, like the good American I am.

“Monsters are attacking the library. This time, they’re fictional.” Ha!

“A young escort hides in the Hamptons in this smoldering thriller.” Since I already have a shiteload of books to read and soon a bunch of screenplays, I may have to pass. Then again, what’s one more book on an already overloaded pile of ‘em?

“I believe travel is sacred and essential for the mind and the spirit.” I couldn’t agree with you more, Emilio Estevez.

The article describes how his whole family traveled the country all the time due to his father’s work. I think there’s something to be said for that approach.

“‘A life event’: People (and cities) gear up for 2024’s total solar eclipse.” Eh, I’ll probably watch it on my computer.

Some previews just lie. 🙂

PS: Click here to read a much better Mother’s Day post.
