I’m Actually a Musician
There’s a long story I could tell you about how I became a musician, but I don’t really have the energy at the moment. I’ll try to work on that and write it all out later. Maybe, assuming I don’t get hit by a bus or have another stroke or something.
Thing is, I’ve always loved music. For a while, music was my life. I even thought about going professional. Starting a band.
I wanted to start the first all-girl version of The Who. But, I never got round to it. Too busy trying to figure out what to do with the rest of my life. And how to pay the bills while I was doing all that figuring.
So, anyway, I thought this was interesting, as a music lover and all.
According to this source, it is said that Johnny Cash was supposed to write the theme for the Bond movie Thunderball.
That reminded me of the rumor I’d heard that Alice Cooper was supposed to write the theme to another Bond movie: The Man with the Golden Gun.
Well, here’s what they actually used:
Thunderball
The Man with the Golden Gun
I can guess I can see why they chose the one for Thunderball. Seems to fit just so.
As for The Man with the Golden Gun, can’t say I care much for either song. Or the movie, to be honest.
Well, it’s an interesting contrast. 🙂
PS: I’d like to thank Seth Godin for this! 🙂
And here’s one of my favorite songs from Da Bleedin’ Who! 😀
