I Won’t Say It

Okay, the blog(s) upon which I use to rant and rave and write about this topic are long-dead. I shut down the five blogs (well, four really, because one of them I only occasionally visited and tried to post a few things and … never mind! 🙂 ) … what was I saying?

Right. Five or six blogs and ten years ago, I warned people about this, but … probably not in the nicest way.

None of that matters. It has now become clear we have a problem. One that someone has already pointed out here.

Thing is, this problem has been obvious (to me, anyhow) since 2011, when I first saw this article.

And some of you may recall seeing this diagram?

Well, finally someone with sufficient online presence/gravitas is speaking up.

And here’s the joint letter to the Antitrust Division at the U.S. Department of Justice.

And here’s an article from 2011 that should have suggested the problem a whole lot sooner!

Nice of you to try to close the barn door now that the horse has fled the stable. Although it does kind of miss the larger point, doesn’t it? 🙂

Do you still not get it? Let me remind you of this post showing that references to Amazon in Dave Barry’s end of year roundup in the Washington Post (which is owned by Amazon) were removed from the online version, but can be found intact here. (At least, for now. 🙂 )

PS: Do Democrats want to try to force the Baltimore Sun sale by threatening Eminent Domain? As rhetorical questions go, I’d say that’s a fair one.

PPS: Feel free to continue ignoring me! Thanks! 🙂

PPPS: Good on you, Jeff! Now, buzz off! And have a nice day! 🙂

PPPPS: Thank you, Seth Godin! And, yes!

And, as Sheldon Cooper would say, “Bazinga!”
