Tessa Lunney writes novels, short fiction, poetry and reviews. She holds a Doctorate of Creative Arts from the University of Western Sydney, that looked at silences in Australian war fiction. In 2016 she won the Josephine Ulrick Prize for Fiction for her story Chess and Dragonflies. She has been published in Best Australian Poems 2014, Griffith Review, Southerly, Mascara Literary Review, Australian Book Review, among others.
