Me, 12 or 13 years ago.

Yes, that’s me, holding a Kobo. Kobo is an anagram of book. Amazon isn’t.

You may notice I’m also wearing a TARDIS necklace. You’ll note that the proper spelling of TARDIS is all caps, yes? I guess.

There’s a WHOLE STORY about how I got that necklace. It starts with the internet, of all things.

You see, ages and ages ago, sometime in 2010 or 2011, when I wrote a previous version of this blog, I ran across another blogger, who happened to be in England. And this blogger not only liked Doctor Who, but enjoyed movies! Well, yay!

The blogger noted the death of John Barry and posted a video of one of his most-famous compositions.

Okay, I reposted that video on the previous version of this blog (under a different URL), along with what they used to call a “hat tip” to the source. So, the Blogger in England notices this and leaves a nice comment on my blog.

So, I’m like, “Yay! I know someone in England. Or could know someone in England now.”
