Am I really … ?

Brown: Do you think I’m nuanced?

Orange: Nuanced? What do you mean?

Brown: Oh, you know. Complex? Not just two-dimensional?

Orange: Deep subject.

Brown: Ha ha.

Orange tries to smile, then realizes she can’t move her face.

Brown: It’s just that I’d like to think I’m more than a woman in a dress and heels sitting at a cafe table, staring in no discernible direction.

Orange: You are. You’re my friend.

Brown: Oh, wow. Thank you. That means a lot.

Orange: I just realized something.

Brown: Yeah?

Orange: How can we be talking when I can’t even move my face?
